Richarlison has been on fire for Tottenham recently. The Brazilian just cannot stop scoring, and his current form has played a significant role in Tottenham’s sustained push for the top four.

Richarlison seems to have turned a corner, but others say it is just a purple patch in what has been a disappointing Spurs career so far.

Indeed, speaking on the Premier League All Access Podcast, Scott Minto said that Richarlison would be unable to maintain this level of performance, arguing that he is too streaky as a striker to be considered a Golden Boot candidate.

Minto is correct; Richarlison is a streaky player, and this run might stop at any point.

When he initially came in England with Watford, he had a similar run of goals, and he had the same run a few of seasons ago to rescue Everton from relegation.

Richarlison is a lightning in a bottle player; when he’s on, he’s amazing, but pulling that kind of performance out of him every week for an entire season is a difficult feat to say the least.

We hope Richarlison can keep scoring like this, but getting this kind of performance out of a guy over time is difficult.
