Exclusive: Nusa ready for summer transfer as Spurs complete another signing
Antonio Nusa, a star player for Club Brugge, will leave the team in the summer after agreements to sign with Brentford and Tottenham fell through late last month, sources revealed Football Insider.
A contract of an initial £25 million had been agreed upon by Thomas Frank’s team to acquire the winger, however the transfer was called off due to purported medical concerns.
He is anticipated to leave Club Brugge after three years and join the Premier League, according to Football Insider’s reliable sources.
Nusa was supposed to join Tottenham and spend the rest of the season on loan at the Belgian team.
With four goals and three assists in 28 games, the 18-year-old has had a fantastic season.
Since joining Club Brugge from Norwegian team Stabaek in the summer of 2021, he has made a total of 64 appearances.
Tottenham signed Timo Werner on a temporary loan from RB Leipzig and defender Radu Dragusin permanently from Genoa, but they were unable to sign the offensive sensation.
Additionally, Spurs revealed on Friday that they had reached an agreement to recruit Swedish wonder Lucas Bergvall, having outbid Barcelona for his services.
Brentford has arranged for Sergio Reguilon to spend the rest of the season on loan from Spurs.
Additionally, they signed 18-year-old midfielder Yunus Emre Konak and custodian Hakon Valdimarsson of Iceland on permanent contracts.
After defeating Brentford 3-2 on Wednesday, January 31, Tottenham is now ranked fourth in the Premier League, while the Bees are now ranked fifteenth.
The next game for Spurs is on Saturday afternoon, February 3, at Goodison Park against Everton, while on Monday night, February 5, Frank’s team plays Man City.
