James Maddison reacts brutally after hearing news about 24yr old Tottenham star yesterday
James Maddison is happy for Pedro Porro, a star for Tottenham Hotspur, since he has been called up to the Spain team.
At the end of March, Luis de la Fuente revealed the roster for La Roja’s upcoming international matches against Brazil and Colombia. With his incredible season at Tottenham, Porro has earned the selection.
In January of last year, Pedro Porro was acquired by Tottenham from Sporting Lisbon.
Under Antonio Conte, the 24-year-old had a challenging first few months at Spurs. At the time, he was receiving a lot of criticism, but that is all in the past now.
Ever since Ange Postecoglou became leadership of the team, Porro has been terrific. His efforts since the beginning of this season have been nothing short of extraordinary, making him one of Tottenham’s top players right now.
Every player’s desire is to represent his country, and Porro is no exception. The defender has only ever made two appearances for Spain; the first was in 2021, and the second was over a year ago. He is thrilled about the prospect of earning his third international cap soon.
Porro celebrated his call-up on Friday by posting on Instagram. James Maddison was among his teammates who offered him some love.
The English writer wrote, “Deserved bro,” and Sergio Reguilon agreed. Micky van de Ven and Giovani Lo Celso were also very pleased for him.
Porro has made significant progress at Tottenham
Before this season began, Pedro Porro was asked a lot of questions.
Despite the 24-year-old’s unconvincing early Tottenham displays, Ange Postecoglou has been able to bring out the best in him.
Porro has made incredible progress in the last six months. With eight assists already for Spurs, he has set a club record for which he should be extremely proud.
This evening, Tottenham plays Fulham, and Porro is anticipated to start. If he increases his total of assists at Craven Cottage, we won’t be shocked.
