He’s not disciplined at all: Pundit tells Postecoglou to change £22M Tottenham star position

A lot of people have said bad things about Tottenham Hotspur players since their 4-0 loss to Newcastle United on Saturday.

It looks like Spurs are having a terrible time at St. James’ Park, don’t you think?

Last season, the North Londoners lost badly to Newcastle 5-1, and this time, they only gave up four goals without answering.

Ange Postecoglou has a lot to think about, and now he’s been told to move one of his players around.

This season has had a lot of good things happen for Tottenham.

After a terrible season the previous year, Spurs got lucky with Ange Postecoglou. The Australian has done a great job for the last eight months.

Replacing Harry Kane was one of the hardest things Postecoglou had to do.

He went from Tottenham to Bayern Munich just a few days before the start of the new Premier League season.

Postecoglou bravely chose not to replace Kane with another player and instead moved captain Heung-min Son to the number nine spot.

The South Korean has done really well there almost every time he’s played. This season, he has scored 15 goals and set up nine others, which is a great result.

But Postecoglou has had to use Timo Werner on the left because Son plays down the middle. The German has gotten a lot of bad press.

Richarlison had a bad season last year, but Jay Bothroyd says that Son “doesn’t have that discipline” to play as a striker and would be better off as a left winger. He is now in Tottenham’s best XI as a striker.

He said on The Optus Sport Football Podcast, “I’m sorry, but Richarlison was great for Tottenham when he was playing.”

“As early as the season, I said this: if he can start being disciplined in the middle, he will score goals because he is good in the air and gets tap-ins and ugly goals. I think Tottenham have missed that.”

“Okay, so you put Son up front. He’s a great player, but he doesn’t have the discipline to stay between the two defenders because a player of his caliber wants to play.”

“That’s why I think Tottenham doesn’t have their best team.” Richarlison is now in that first eleven.

Not everyone thinks highly of Tottenham’s striker Richarlison, but if he is used correctly, he can be a very dangerous player for the team. That’s why his stats show he should start.

Brazil’s player has scored 10 goals for Spurs so far this season. Incredibly, nine of those goals came in just eight games in December and January.

Lee Heung-min Richarlison is better when he plays as a striker than when he plays as a forward for Tottenham. This is surprising because Son has done well up front for them.

The player who used to play for Everton scores a goal every 117.3 minutes in the Premier League as a number nine, while Son scores every 132.4 minutes.

After getting better, Richarlison will likely start up front while Son moves to the left side. Timo Werner, on the other hand, will have to sit out.
