Postecoglou give reason £25M Tottenham man did not facing United
Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou stated that Dejan Kulusevski will not play against Manchester United because he is sick.
Spurs are playing Manchester United today, but many important players have not gone to Old Trafford with the team.
The Asian Cup is going on right now, and Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr are at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Tottenham has added Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin as new players, but they are still short an important player.
Dejan Kulusevski is sick and can’t play against Tottenham
Tottenham fans looked at Ange Postecoglou’s team sheet today at 3:30pm and couldn’t understand why Dejan Kulusevski wasn’t on the team.
Even though the Swede has been a constant all season, he wasn’t even on the bench against United, let alone starting.
Kulusevski has been very important because he can play on the right wing when needed and as a number 10 when needed.
Spurs’ centre does not seem to have that creative spark, so Kulusevski’s loss is noticed.
Postecoglou has now stated that Kulusevski will not play because he is sick. The whole Tottenham team got sick.
As reported by Football London, Postecoglou said that Kulusevski had gotten sick more than his friends and would not be able to play again.
“He’s been sick for a few days now. Postecoglou said, “We spread it through the team, but he got the worst of it, so he has to miss something.”
Tottenham will have a break after their game at Old Trafford today. They won’t play again until January 26th, when they play Manchester United in the FA Cup.
There is now a lot of time for Kulusevski to heal and get ready for a match against Pep Guardiola’s team. Spurs fans will be hoping that their £25 million wide player doesn’t get hurt again.
