He will be out: Postecoglou is going to drop outstanding player very soon, he needs to rest

Spurs lost a big game over the weekend that hurt their chances of finishing in the top four.

In the end of the season, Ange Postecoglou’s team looked like the choice to finish fourth, but a crazy weekend in the Premier League has changed everything.

Newcastle United beat Tottenham 4-0 on Saturday, which was a terrible loss. It got even worse when Aston Villa beat Arsenal. They are now three points ahead of Spurs, even though they’ve played one more game.

Saturday and Sunday weren’t great for Tottenham. After their loss at Newcastle on Saturday, one player got a lot of bad press.

For Tottenham, as for many other teams, this season has been full of injuries.

James Maddison and Micky van de Ven sat on the bench, and Spurs fans haven’t seen much of Manor Solomon since he joined the team in the summer.

Richarlison has also had a rough season because he hasn’t been able to play more than 1400 minutes of football because of injuries.

Earlier in the season, the Brazilian had surgery on his groyne. Since then, he has missed two games because of knee injuries.

It’s been since the middle of February that Richarlison stopped a Premier League game.

Since then, Ange Postecoglou has put Timo Werner on the left side. The German has been a real pain to watch, even though he has shown some flashes of brilliance with his speed and movement.

Werner had two great chances to score against Newcastle on Saturday, which would have changed the game. He missed both, which is becoming a pattern in how he plays.

Jay Bothroyd called Werner “one of the worst players in the Premier League.” Now, Bothroyd says that Werner will be benched as soon as Richarlison comes back.

He said on The Optus Sport Football Podcast, “I think Woner will not be on the team if Richarlison comes back. Son will move to the left.”

“I think they’ll be better in the future because you’ll have players you can work with and play link-ups with.”

What Daniel Levy thinks about Tottenham’s plans for Timo Werner
In January, Tottenham borrowed Timo Werner from RB Leipzig for six months.

A lot of people thought the German would be great in Ange Postecoglou’s dynamic scheme, but some were worried about his time at Chelsea.

Some of Werner’s play has been “outstanding,” but he has had trouble finishing at Tottenham, just like he did at Chelsea. This could affect his future.

There is a chance that Spurs will sign Werner on a regular basis this summer. Daniel Levy and the rest of the Spurs management are said to see him as a “low-risk signing.”

Werner might lose his spot in the team if he keeps having trouble scoring, though, so it would be hard to justify making his loan move permanent.
