Fabrizio Romano names one player he knows Tottenham are looking at signing this summer
It’s just a few weeks till the summer transfer market opens, and oddly enough, Tottenham has been quite quiet.
Even though Spurs have been active in the transfer market recently, there hasn’t been much discussion about the players they could add this summer.
Fabrizio Romano was asked to identify a player who he knows Tottenham is interested in moving into the summer when talking about the club’s transfer ambitions in an interview with JD Football.
When asked to identify a player he knows Tottenham wants, Romano said that he knows Tottenham is interested in Conor Gallagher.
Spurs are hoping for Conor Gallagher.
Gallagher is a player Tottenham is interested in, according to Romano.
Romano was questioned, “Fab come on, I need at least one player that you know Tottenham are interested in or are looking at.”
“Conor Gallagher,” declared Romano.
Conor Gallagher needs to choose.
This summer, Conor Gallagher must make a significant choice.
It’s crunch time for the England international, who is about to enter the last year of his Chelsea deal.
Gallagher has to make a significant choice about his future, and Tottenham will undoubtedly be watching if he decides he must leave Chelsea.
Naturally, Gallagher’s future move will be mostly determined by the appointment of a new Chelsea manager.
Gallagher’s worth to the Blues will likely differ from that of Mauricio Pochettino, but if the midfielder is passed over at Stamford Bridge, a transfer to Tottenham may be imminent.
Gallagher may fall down Chelsea’s hierarchy, which might eventually result in a summer move given the alternatives Chelsea has in Romeo Lavia, Enzo Fernandez, and Moises Caicedo.
This summer, Gallagher to Tottenham is definitely one to watch.
