No Problem: Spurs star confirms he is not injured after United game

After the 2-2 draw between Tottenham and Manchester United, Micky van de Ven said he did not get hurt again.

The center back, who is 22 years old, played his first game for Spurs since November. He had been out with a leg injury for two months.

Spurs started Van de Ven at center back at Old Trafford and he did a great job, but he had to leave late in the game because of a cramp.

The Dutch international, however, told Tottenham’s official Twitter account that he hasn’t hurt himself again and is feeling fine after last night’s game.

In fact, Van de Ven getting hurt again would have been terrible for Tottenham, even though they just bought Radu Dragusin in January.

Van de Ven said, “I thought I’d be gone for two years!” It felt like a long time. I’m glad to be back, though. I had a cramp at the end of the game, but I’m fine and in good health.

Tottenham cannot afford for Micky van de Ven to get hurt again

Van de Ven showed how good he is last night in Manchester. The Dutch back was one of Tottenham’s best players in a fun game at Old Trafford.

Now that the 22-year-old center back is fully recovered from his injury, Spurs will need to make sure Van de Ven stays healthy if they want to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

And the transfers that happened this month could help keep Van de Ven as healthy as possible. For example, the addition of Dragusin to Tottenham’s defense is a huge plus.
