Smashes it out: Gary Neville says Tottenham favourite has well and truly blown us all away

At the end of last season, Tottenham Hotspur was in a pretty bad spot. They finished eighth in the Premier League table and didn’t have a manager or head of football.

Spurs quickly got back on track, and Daniel Levy’s choice to hire Ange Postecoglou as manager was a real big mistake.

Tottenham got off to a great start this season, and at first it looked like they might be a dark horse for the title.

Then there was that epic game against Chelsea. Spurs were down to nine men, but they stuck with their plan and almost tied the game.

Postecoglou has also been in charge of two very successful transfer windows, during which a lot of top players with bright futures were brought in.

What did Gary Neville say about Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Spurs?

“We knew Postecoglou from Celtic, but Spurs didn’t pick him,” he said. “And then all of a sudden he hits it out of the park in football. He blew us all away.”

Over the past few years, Tottenham has had a lot of false starts. However, they now have a boss who understands the club and is getting results on the game.

It’s great to hear people like Neville say nice things about Postecoglou. Let’s see what happens in the last few games as Spurs try to finish in the top four.
