He get worse the more he plays – Tottenham man is a problem, robbing minutes from others
Tanguy Ndombele, who is now playing on loan at Galatasaray after leaving Tottenham, seems to be having trouble establishing himself once again.
The French midfielder has had a very challenging season so far. He has fluctuated between the starting lineups for the Süper Lig squad, displaying moments of brilliance interspersed with extended stretches of performance that have garnered negative feedback.
The 27-year-old was the target of insults from the Turkish media once again on Wednesday, as Fanatik directed some pointed remarks at the Tottenham loanee.
This followed his performance in the Turkish Cup on Tuesday night against Bandirmaspor, a match in which he started and participated for the whole ninety minutes.
Despite the victory, Ndombele, who has only played the whole game twice since transferring from Tottenham to Istanbul, didn’t seem to impress.
Fanatik explains that Galatasaray “have a problem” rather than a star in the French midfield player.
“He finishes games without a sprint, he avoids tackles, he is absent in fast breaks and the more he plays, the worse he gets” is how the litany of complaints begins.
Fanatik thinks that Galatasaray supporters “must be getting more and more desperate the more they watch him,” even if some of them may still have hope for salvation.
It’s as if “Ndombele seems to be robbing Galatasaray youngsters of their future every minute he plays.”
Not quite the remarks About half of the loan period has passed, and both Tottenham and the player would have been hoping.
