Bid Accepted, Medical Begins Now: Tottenham star man agrees move

Eric Dier is currently undergoing a medical examination with Bayern Munich after reaching an agreement on the terms of a permanent transfer from Tottenham, according to sources from Football Insider.

Tottenham has accepted an offer from the German giants for the services of the long-serving England star, who is set to become a free agent at the end of the current season.

The reported deal from Bayern includes an 18-month contract with a one-year option, showcasing their eagerness to secure Dier’s services.

Despite having made only four appearances for the Lilywhites this season, Dier’s versatility and ability to play in central midfield and at centre-back have caught the attention of Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel.

The 29-year-old, having spent the majority of his 364-match career at Spurs in a defensive midfield role, has been utilized mainly as a centre-back in recent seasons.

Tuchel envisions making better use of Dier’s adaptability at Bayern, assuring him playing time in both positions he is well-acquainted with.

Meanwhile, Tottenham is on the verge of confirming the acquisition of Genoa centre-back Radu Dragusin as their second January addition, following the arrival of Timo Werner on loan from RB Leipzig for the remainder of the season.

Currently occupying the fifth spot in the Premier League table, Spurs are gearing up for a crucial match against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
