Europe Giant set to lose out on iconic tie up as Tottenham close in on £60M kit deal

Chelsea is about to miss out on a cool deal because Tottenham is getting close to a £60 million kit deal.

A surefire way for a football club to make money these days is to sell imitation shirts. However, it looks like Chelsea may have missed out on a chance to work with Jordan on a famous project.

Jordan is a branch of the Nike brand, and for a long time it has been seen as one of the coolest sports names to wear. PSG is known to wear some of its clothes.

Football Insider says that they want to give kits to a London club, and it was thought that Todd Boehly’s connection to the brand was what made the difference in Chelsea getting the £60m deal.

The best made plans don’t always work out as planned, though, and since Mauricio Pochettino’s team isn’t likely to make it to Europe at this point, Jordan are reluctantly looking elsewhere. Tottenham is the team most likely to take advantage of Chelsea’s present bad luck.

Some artists at Footy Headlines have made some sketches of what the kits for both teams might look like.

It doesn’t look like a final plan has been agreed upon yet, but if Spurs can get ahead of their London rivals, it will be huge for their business.

Ange Postecoglou’s team is currently on track to make it to the Europa League next season. However, if they keep picking up points, they could also make it to the Champions League.
