Look at Arsenal: Eric Dier shares what he finds baffling after Tottenham Hotspur fans

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are fierce foes in North London. Eric Dier has talked about how the two teams did after building their new stadiums, the Emirates Stadium for Arsenal and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for Tottenham Hotspur.

During the January transfer window, Eric Dier left Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich. He talked about how Arsenal’s play got worse after they built the Emirates Stadium.

Dies, who can either play defence or defensive midfield, said that Tottenham hasn’t had those problems.

The Englishman really likes how Tottenham boss Daniel Levy runs the club and says he doesn’t understand why some Spurs fans are upset with him.

Daniel Levy, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur: Eric Dier talks about them

Dass said this about Levy in The Times: “Daniel is a very strong businessman.” He is very tough to work with, but he is responsible for the club.

“I thought it was funny to see “Levy Out” on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In the last ten years, this guy has built the best facilities in football—the best training ground, the best stadium—and a team that has stayed pretty competitive—they made it to the Champions League final in 2019—and he deserves credit for that.”

“Some other clubs are having a hard time now that Financial Fair Play is a big deal.” Where Daniel is that I really admire him.

“Look at Arsenal when they were building their new stadium. You saw the team’s performance drop. They had to do that because they didn’t have enough money, and now they’re finally coming back.”

“Tottenham is never brought up in any of these FFP talks.” I don’t understand how a Tottenham fan could be mad at someone who takes care of their team that way.

What I think: Arsenal is miles ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.

I think Arsenal is a bigger club than Tottenham Hotspur and is much further along in terms of progress and success.

In 2019, Spurs did make it to the final of the UEFA Champions League. But Arsenal did the same thing in 2006. In the past, the Gunners have also won the Premier League.

That Tottenham didn’t build on their success under head coach Mauricio Pochettino is what makes me mad.

Spurs almost won the Premier League title under Pochettino’s direction, and he led the team to the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2019.

Then, Daniel Levy, the head of Tottenham, should have taken the chance to improve the team by spending money on it and signing top players.
