Two key Tottenham players now expected in line up for Crystal Palace game

Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are anticipated to make a comeback for Tottenham Hotspur against Crystal Palace in their next league match.

Due to injuries sustained by both players throughout the previous week, they were unable to participate on Saturday.

Prior to the Wolves game, Ange Postecoglou verified that Destiny Udogie had taken a knock.

Regarding Pedro Porro, Postecoglou said that the Spaniard may be out for a few weeks due to a strained muscle.

However, as Tottenham’s match against Chelsea has been postponed till further notice, Porro and Udogie may return for their subsequent match. Tottenham is not playing this weekend.

Porro and Udogie are anticipated back for Palace

According to The Athletic, Porro and Udogie are “expected” to return for Crystal Palace on March 2 since they don’t have a match this weekend.

It’s safe to assume that Spurs, who lost to Wolves 2-1 at home on Saturday, were missing their lively full-backs.

Spurs depend on both players for inventiveness in the center of the pitch, so it’s not entirely the fault that Postecoglou’s team seemed to be lacking in ideas moving forward.

Both Ben Davies and Emerson Royal were selected, but even though they both play strong defense, neither is a good fit for the inverted full-back position.

Udogie has contributed five goals to the league goal total this season, while Porro has amassed eight assists in 23 games for the Spurs.

Their significance to the current Spurs team was further highlighted on Saturday when Postecoglou was missing the two.

Should both players make a comeback to the team for the Palace match, it would be a great boost for the Australian.

After victories over the weekend for both Manchester United and Aston Villa, Spurs will be eager to resume their winning ways.
