I arrive at training so tired – Tottenham star reveals why he stays up so late and Ange being furiou

Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison recently disclosed his childhood allegiance to a Brazilian club amidst his professional journey in European football.

In an interview with Desimpedidos, Richarlison revealed his enduring support for Vasco da Gama, a Rio de Janeiro-based team, despite his previous stint with Fluminense.

He explained that while his association with Fluminense is due to his past affiliation, his family’s strong ties to Vasco have influenced his lifelong allegiance to the club.

Acknowledging the challenges of following his favorite team from afar, Richarlison confessed to staying up late to watch Vasco da Gama’s matches, often leading to fatigue during training sessions the following day.

Although his club preference may seem inconsequential now, it could play a significant role in his future career decisions, particularly if he decides to return to Brazilian football.

Vasco da Gama’s status as his childhood team may give them an advantage in potential negotiations.

Richarlison’s football journey began at América-MG before he joined Fluminense in 2016. He made the leap to European football in 2017, initially with Watford before signing for Everton in 2018.
