Micky Hazard gives responds when asked if Tottenham should now sell Yves Bissouma

Spurs player Yves Bissouma has come under fire from Tottenham Hotspur icon Micky Hazard for his “silly” sending-off against Nottingham Forest.

The legend of White Hart Lane has made it clear that he just needs to strengthen his discipline and that he does not want the Tottenham player moved.

Spurs won 2-0 on Friday night at the City Ground to extend their winning streak in the Premier League to two games.

However, when Bissouma was sent off for a high tackle on Ryan Yates, Ange Postecoglou’s team was reduced to 10 men for the remainder of the match.

The Tottenham player was originally given a yellow card by referee Jarred Gillett, but VAR referee Michael Oliver stepped in.

Gillett upgraded to red when he instructed his colleague to see the event on the pitchside monitor.

Since it was Bissouma’s second red of the year, he will miss the next four games.

Additionally, the player won’t be available until at least the end of January due to his trip to the Africa Cup of Nations.

Tottenham “will learn, but it needs to happen right now.”

After the match, Hazard posted on X, complimenting Tottenham for being a strong team and said that things are “looking fantastic.”

He did, however, agree that Spurs must cease allowing opponents to into the game via incompetence and that the learning process must begin right away.

But Hazard expressed his opinions clearly when a fan inquired whether he would trade Bissouma in the summer.

After receiving a red card against Luton earlier in the season, Bissouma will be out from games against Burnley, Everton, Brighton, and Bournemouth.

He is also the first player since Kyle Naughton in 2014–15 to get two red cards in a single Premier League season for Tottenham.

Although Bissouma is a talented player and is now playing at his peak under Postecoglou, there is undoubtedly room for improvement on the disciplinary front.
