Ralf Rangnick give verdict to Postecoglou on how to turn Timo Werner into a star

Tottenham Hotspur might use their new player Timo Werner against Manchester United this afternoon, and Ralf Rangnick might be paying close notice.

In their last five Premier League games, Spurs have only lost one and won the other four. They have been in great shape lately.

Ange Postecoglou is still doing a great job as Tottenham’s manager. He now wants to beat United twice in a row after beating Erik ten Hag 2-0 in August.

There are still a few injured players for Spurs, and some are now out for foreign duty. However, Postecoglou has two new players to choose from this afternoon.

Radu Dragusin, a defender who recently signed from Genoa, could play, and Timo Werner, a forward who recently signed from RB Leipzig, will also be available.

Ratlf Rangnick likes Tottenham Hotspur striker Timo Werner a lot. Werner could have played against Tottenham today.

Sky Germany said earlier in January that Manchester United was interested in getting Werner.

Werner was supposed to join the team to help Rasmus Hojlund up top, but Tottenham was able to sign him instead.

An ex-Manchester United manager has already told Postecoglou how to use Werner, even though he will start on the bench today.

After taking over as United manager, Ralf Rangnick didn’t get much done, but it turned out that he was right when he said the team needed “open heart surgery.”

Rangnick also knows Werner from his time at Red Bull and has talked about how to get the most out of him in the past.

The best of Werner was not shown by Chelsea, and Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Rangnick told Plettenberg that Werner needs “trust and the absolute backing” of his boss to play at his best.

Rangenick also thinks Werner works best when he is paired with another striker, which is how he played for most of his first season with RB Leipzig.

“For Timo to play at his best, he needs the trainer to trust him and fully support him,” Rangnick said. “He is one of two strikers who I think is at his best and strongest,” he said.

Postecoglou fully supports Werner, and he loves it when teams move the ball quickly in the final third.

Werner hasn’t been at his best in a few years, but the fast-paced attacking football at Tottenham might be perfect for him.

We’re not sure if Werner should play up top with another scorer, though.

Most of the time, Postecoglou uses a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation, with a single scorer and help from the wings.

Werner could play in those teams’ front lines or out wide, and he shouldn’t be left alone in the final third.

Postecoglou probably already has a plan for Werner, but Werner may think about what Rangnick said as he gets ready to start his job at Tottenham.
