‘He knows’: Fabrizio Romano shares how Ange Postecoglou is really feeling at Tottenham now

Ange Postecoglou is starting to show signs of wear and tear at Tottenham.

This week, the Australian went on a serious rant after the Manchester City game. In some ways, his words reminded me of what Antonio Conte said about Spurs a year ago.

Because Spurs have been playing badly, there has been a lot of talk about Postecoglou being unhappy at the club. However, Fabrizio Romano said on The Debrief that the boss isn’t actually upset at the club.

Romano says Postecoglou isn’t upset, but both he and the board agree that things need to change this summer.

Ange Postecoglou not upset

Romano said what he knows about the boss of Tottenham.

“I do think it’s changed because Ange Postecoglou already had that in mind before the game.” Romano said, “He knew Tottenham needed a big, big change before the summer transfer window.”

“He’s working on that with the club.” Ange Postecoglou and other people at the club know that big changes need to be made in the summer, but I don’t think he is unhappy with Tottenham or the board.

Tottenham needs to make some changes

Even though Ange Postecoglou might not be upset at Tottenham, I doubt many other Spurs fans are happy with their team’s recent results.

In fact, the boss knows that something needs to change, even though he’s not about to quit.

There are only a few weeks left until the summer transfer window opens. Postecoglou and Tottenham will then be able to rebuild this team however they see fit.

Even though Tottenham has a lot of problems, they mostly did the right thing in the transfer window last summer. If they can have a similar window this year, they should be able to fight at the very top level next season.
