Exclusive: Newcastle sensationally hijack Tottenham deal, exit terms agreed
Football Insider has learned that Newcastle United is talking about shockingly taking over Tottenham’s deal for Club Brugge star Antonio Nusa.
The 18-year-old is thought to be being considered by the Magpies as a possible option for Miguel Almiron.
Newcastle and Al-Shabab have not yet agreed on a price for the Paraguayan player, though.
This is how the Magpies plan to raise money for new players and get out of financial trouble: they will sell players.
Nusa has been named as a possible target for Eddie Howe’s team, who have put a lot of effort into signing young players since being taken over by Saudi Arabia.
Inside the club, they’ve talked about making a move for the growing star even though Spurs are ahead of them.
Football Insider reported on January 20 that Tottenham was getting close to signing the very good player from Club Brugge.
Spurs got ahead in the competition to sign him by offering to loan the youngster back to Brugge for the rest of the season.
Newcastle is now planning a move to get the Norwegian player, who wants to stay in Belgium until the summer.
This season, Nusa has played 27 times across all categories and scored four goals and set up three others.
The winger has already played four times for Norway and scored one goal and set up four others.
