‘The stars are aligned’: Everything is set up for Tottenham to sign ‘amazing’ player now – journalist

Tottenham is looking forward a hectic summer transfer window.

Spurs have a lot of work ahead of them on their roster this summer, and one player they have been connected with often is Eberechi Eze.

Recently, the Crystal Palace hero has seen his family seated in a box at Spurs games; as you may expect, there is a lot of conjecture around a possible relocation to north London.

Josh Hughes of The Daily Mail has been talking about Eze and his ties to Spurs on The Spurs Chat Podcast.

Hughes pointed out that Eze has the same agency as Richarlison and James Maddison, so a contract to sign Eze seems to be there to be done should Ange Postecoglou approve.

Eberechi Eze has work ahead of him.
Hughes discussed Eze and a possible Tottenham transfer.

“His agent, he shares Richarlison for starters at CAA Base and they have a box and that’s a thing,” Hughes added.

“Based on what I have been informed, their box is really large and welcomes families of players. Though I’m trying not to say anything that might get me in hot water, wink wink, Spurs most certainly have the means to do something there.

“I mention the agency; if Spurs want to strike the bargain, I’m sure there is one to be done. If Spurs were the only team in for Eze, then I believe the choice rests with Ange Postecoglou.

“It was the same as Maddison; he was a CAA Base contract and it was simple to complete; I wouldn’t be shocked if the trade was approved far ahead of the window. Naturally you could complete the trade with a player like Eze, but Ange will make the ultimate decision. If Ange says he wants him, Eze will definitely seize the chance and visit Spurs.

“All the stars are aligned to negotiate a transaction like that, without want to get myself in trouble. Whether it occurs is down to Ange, the club and the player, but I hope so; Eze is really fantastic.

Eze should be signed by Tottenham.
Based on the sounds of things, Spurs would be reckless to ignore and would be simple to sign Eze this summer.

Among the most gifted young players in the Premier League, Eze would fit Ange Postecoglou’s offensive approach exactly.

Of course, a tactical overhaul would be required to fit both Eze and James Maddison into the same side, but Tottenham would have one of the most entertaining assaults in the Premier League if Postecoglou could find a way to use both players.

This is definitely something to keep a watch on approaching summer.
