Club Sent Emissaries With Testing The Conditions With Tottenham Over Star Mission
Real Betis is ready to try to re-sign Giovani Lo Celso from Tottenham Hotspur during the next transfer window. They have sent representatives to Spurs to “test the conditions” of a deal.
This season, the 28-year-old defender has played only a few times for Spurs because his deal is coming to an end.
It is thought that Lo Celso wants to leave Tottenham, and Spurs are likely to be open to offers for him because of his deal.
In 2019, the Argentine player left Real Betis to play for Spurs. Now, Real Betis wants to bring him back this summer.
The Spanish news site Be Soccer Betis says that the La Liga club is thinking about whether or not to sign him during the next transfer window.
Senders from Real Betis were in London last month to “test the conditions” that Spurs would need to let him go.
It was being looked into what Tottenham’s position is so that a deal could be made to send the Argentinian back to Betis.
Even though the move is still being thought about, Betis would probably have to sell some players this summer in order to make the money to sign Lo Celso.
