Exclusive: One deal done, Tottenham lay groundwork for summer signing blitz

According to sources that spoke with Football Insider, Tottenham is anticipated to be active during the summer transfer window once again.

Spurs, who came in second only to Crystal Palace on the Premier League expenditure list, were among the few active teams in the league in January, adding Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin to the team.

An informed source has informed Football Insider that Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham, would get “huge” support during the summer transfer window.

The Australian has already gained a horde of admirers in north London and is attempting to establish a young, vibrant side there.

Prior to the summer transfer window, Lucas Bergvall, an 18-year-old midfielder for the Sweden national team, has already committed to joining Spurs.

Postecoglou is reportedly linked to Liverpool’s managerial job, but according to Football Insider (February 14), he does not have a release clause in his Spurs contract. Despite this, Tottenham still intends to support him.

With Champions League participation a genuine possibility, the Lilywhites have no intention of losing their manager. This summer, the Londoners want to further their development.

With the departure of record-scoring player Harry Kane last summer, a new striker is probably the top goalie on the off-season want list (2023).

Postecoglou’s team has 14 games left in the season and is currently ranked fourth in the Premier League.

The Spurs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 17, against Wolves.
