Man City tipped to break bank on devastating Tottenham player raid with a ‘dream signing’ for Guardiola

Spurs Center back Micky van de Ven is a great fit for Man City, according to Pep Guardiola.

Tottenham has been told that they will soon have a hard time keeping Micky van de Ven. An agent says Manchester City would love to sign the Dutch defender because he is supposed to become one of the best in the game.

The City fans are on track to finish the Double again this season. They just need to beat West Ham at home on Sunday to win their fourth straight Premier League title, which has never been done before. And with Manchester United waiting for them in the FA Cup final next weekend, not many people think they won’t win both titles again.

Pep Guardiola, who is generally thought to be the best coach in the world of football, has led Manchester City to great success. It has made it easier for them to get the players they want. For example, they have already won five Premier League titles, which shows how successful they are at home.

In fact, the City manager is very picky about which players he wants to sign. And while they still have to be careful with FFP rules, they have been known to pay some really big transfer fees over the years.

Their plan to try to bring Van de Ven to the Etihad in the near future is being pushed by many. The Dutchman was amazing in the Premier League this season.

Aside from Bundesliga fans, not many people knew about the 23-year-old centre back when he moved from Wolfsburg to North London. He cost €40m (£34.5m) at first, plus an extra €10m (£8.5m) in add-ons, making him the club’s most expensive defensive signing ever.

People think that a Tottenham star will make the Netherlands’ Euro 204 team

The Dutch defender set the record for the fastest speed ever recorded in the Premier League earlier this season when he hit an amazing 37.38 km/h against Brentford on January 31. He also has a great understanding of the game, which has helped him make 28 appearances for Tottenham in his first season with the club.

The center-back hurt his hamstring badly against Chelsea at the beginning of November and couldn’t play for 56 days. During that time, Postecoglou’s team lost their form.

And because of how important he is to the club, he was recently named their player of the season at an awards event.

Even though the Netherlands has a lot of great central defenders, that hasn’t stopped the young player from Voldendam from making his start. He has since earned two caps for the Oranje.

And now, Frank de Boer has asked Ronald Koeman to bring the Tottenham star with him to the upcoming European Championships.

This is what De Boer told Viaplay: “Fantastic, he has done an amazing job.” He was player of the year for the Dutch national team. I think it says something about him that you can play so many games at this level in your first season.

He also says that he saw his skills from a young age and that he kept an eye on him while he was in charge of the national team from 2020 to 2021.

“We were aware of his great skill.” It’s very important that he is fast. “He is also very good at technique, which makes him a great defender,” De Boer continued.

He also said, “I think so” when asked if Van de Ven should be in their Euro 2024 team. He has speed as a tool.

“If we want to play with the Dutch team and have room in the back… He usually plays in the middle, but against City, he plays left back. That’s another plus. He’s very good at Dutch football. “A very modern centre back.”

This season, Van de Ven has been very helpful for Tottenham in defence. However, Dutch agent Simon Cziommer thinks that the north London club could soon have some of the biggest and best teams in the world looking to sign the 23-year-old.

Cziommer says he “thinks he will soon be active in Europe’s top division” after calling him a dream signing for Guardiola and City.

He also talked about a possible big-money move to the Etihad: “I think if he keeps playing like this, he would not be out of place at City.”
