Club increasingly likely to lose incredible star for nothing, now Tottenham want him

Now that it seems more probable that they may lose a top midfield player for nothing, Tottenham is keeping an eye on him this summer.

With Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s contract about to expire next year, it seems that Spurs will not be able to retain the Dane. As a result, Ange Postecoglou may try to bolster his midfield with a replacement more in line with his playing philosophy.

Under Postecoglou, Hojbjerg has made significant contributions and been used often, although the most of his games have been as bench warmers. Fabrizio Romano supports the idea that the 28-year-old would leave N17 in an effort to get more playing time.

Spurs are keeping an eye on players like Chelsea star Conor Gallagher who are being linked to replacing Hojbjerg before 2024–2025.

The 27-year-old’s contract expires at the conclusion of current campaign, and HITC reports that Tottenham might be his summer destination.
