Bayern Munich now considering signing £25m Tottenham defender to join Harry Kane and Eric Dier

Bayern Munich have pinched both Harry Kane and Eric Dier off Tottenham in recent times but they could now go for a third player.

The German giants have ended up having a dismal season since Kane and Dier signed, going out in the Champions League semi-finals and finishing third in the Bundesliga, while they also missed out on the German cup.

However, the idea that Bayern’s failure is anything to do with Dier and Kane doesn’t seem to bother the German side.

With Thomas Tuchel moving on and Roberto de Zerbi potentially coming in to replace him, Bayern are keen on further new players.

And according to one journalist, they could now make a move for Tottenham defender, Emerson Royal.

Bayern Munich keen on signing Tottenham’s Emerson Royal

It’s already being reported that Royal could be one of the players on his way out of the club this summer.

The Brazilian has had a bit of torrid time and was criticised recently for his defending against Liverpool.

AC Milan are believed to be keen on signing the £25m full-back. However, it now looks like Bayern Munich and Al-Nassr are also in the mix.

According to journalist Tom Barclay, Bayern are on keeping a close eye on the situation with Royal as they consider joining him back up with Dier and Kane.

Tottenham will be delighted

The fact there seems to be so much interest in Emerson Royal is good news for Spurs and Ange Postecoglou – who has actually called Royal outstanding – ahead of the summer rebuild.

Spurs paid £25m for the Brazilian and we all know that there are murmurings of Barcelona being surprised they got such a fee for him.

Now, it looks like there will be enough clubs looking to sign Royal that Spurs can be confident of getting a good portion of their money back at least.

And in fairness to Royal, a move to Bayern Munich would be an almighty deal for him right now.
