Alan Shearer left blown away by brilliant Tottenham player who is out on loan right now

Alan Shearer has started gushing about a Tottenham Hotspur player who is on loan to another club this season.

Under Ange Postecoglou’s watch, many players have left the club this season in quest of more playing time.

When they return to Plymouth Argyle, players like Alfie Devine and Ashley Phillips hope to establish themselves in the first team.

It will be intriguing to observe the club’s strategy, especially when Tanguy Ndombele, Djed Spence, and Joe Rodon are still under contract when they return in the summer.

Even though they all have their strengths, it would be surprising if any of the three senior names mentioned above had a dramatic change for the better.

On the other hand, Sergio Reguilon may have more luck convincing the club to reconsider their decision when he transferred his Manchester United loan to Brentford in January.

With three assists in ten games for Brentford, 27-year-old Reguilon has been a wonderful asset and has had some great moments while wearing the club’s jersey.

Last weekend, Brentford’s Alan Shearer was astounded by Sergio Reguilon, a loanee from Tottenham.

The Tottenham defender was named to Alan Shearer’s “Team of the Week” for his performance on the road against Aston Villa.

Shearer considered the Spaniard a danger all game long, and two of the aforementioned assists occurred in the 3-3 tie.

“A danger all afternoon down Brentford’s left side and produced two brilliant assists,” he wrote simply.

The question of whether Reguilon deserves a future with the club is one that Tottenham supporters will undoubtedly have strong feelings about.

Although he is still quite effective as a conventional overlapping full-back, maybe he isn’t a good fit for the positional profile that Destiny Udogie is now playing.

Given that Ange Postecoglou currently does not have a tonne of cover at the position, Ryan Sessegnon’s fitness may even factor into that choice.
