Ange call backfires as £30M Tottenham star blasted Really Bad display today
Son Heung-min was given his first start of 2024 by Ange Postecoglou, but the move backfired as Tottenham fell to Wolves 2-1.

Apart from the offensive aspect of the match, Son should have done much more to prevent Gomes from scoring Wolves’ first goal in the first half.
Perry Groves brought attention to the South Korean international’s inability to cut out a delivery into the box during talkSPORT’s broadcast.
Groves said [February 17, 3:45 p.m.] that Son Heung-min had really dipped away from the ball and should have been the one attacking it.

Son was not the only one having a bad day: Richarlison made three efforts but was unable to locate the target.

Unfortunately for Postecoglou, some subpar play on his part—Son was at fault in both areas—proved to be expensive.
