After recent changes: Ange faces huge decision over lethal striker who decide to join Spurs

According to Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy, Tottenham Hotspur is thinking ahead of Manchester United in the lead-up to the January transfer window.

Spurs have handled Harry Kane’s departure well, as Richarlison and Son Heung-min have stepped up.

Spurs could still be inclined to spend money in 2024 on a new striker, since there have been many forward-related speculations.

Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord has been mentioned, but Spurs may want to turn to Germany for a striker who can compete with Kane for the top spot on the scoring lists.

Serhou Guirassy would want to join Tottenham Hotspur

Serhou Guirassy, a striker for Stuttgart, is reportedly interested in joining Tottenham in January, according to The Sun.

Although Guirassy is reportedly wanted by Manchester United, he would rather join with Spurs.

That is a huge plus for Tottenham and indicates that prospective recruits are drawn to the Ange Postecoglou-led project.

Spurs now have to decide whether to pursue Guirassy seriously or to let him explore offers from other teams.

Sebastian Hoeness, the manager, called Guirassy “phenomenal” for his incredible form this season, as he has smashed 17 goals in only 14 Bundesliga games.

That is enough to grab someone’s attention, although Tottenham could be hesitant to pursue Guirassy.

First of all, Guirassy’s commitment to represent Guinea at the Africa Cup of Nations makes a January transfer a bit more difficult and may cause him to miss matches.

The fact that Guirassy has never taken on this shape previously is further cause for worry.

After playing for a number of French and German teams, Guirassy settled at Stuttgart, where he scored goal after goal.

We would be concerned that Guirassy wouldn’t be able to really duplicate this in the Premier League and that it would be a purple patch.

Guirassy’s apparent desire to transfer to North London when the window opens removes one obstacle, but Tottenham and Postecoglou will still need to decide whether to take a gamble on him.
