Why Spurs want to sign Dani Olmo

Olmo is a great attacking player. He has played in the middle of the pitch before, but they are starting to notice that he does his best work when he is on the wing.

According to FBref, the Spain international has been one of the best attacking midfielders and wingers in Europe’s top five games over the past year, with the most shots made and the most goals per 90 minutes. This shows how dangerous he is in and around the penalty area.

If Olmo keeps up the level of play he has been showing lately and brings it to English football, players like Dejan Kulusevski could have a lot of trouble.

Recently, Kulusevski hasn’t been as consistent for Postecoglou’s team. Because Brennan Johnson has been playing so well, he has been put on the bench for the last three Premier League games. This is because Kulusevski was hooked at halftime against Luton Town.

The Sweden player does a lot of work, but he hasn’t been very good lately. According to Sofascore, he has only had three goals in his last five Premier League games, missing the target twice and having the other one stopped.

Kulusevski will still be on the Tottenham team, and he has already shown many times this season how special he is. However, Olmo’s arrival could mean that he plays less in games.
