Even though Tottenham defeated Bournemouth today, it came at a price, as Pape Matar Sarr was the most recent player to suffer an injury.

Sarr left the pitch in discomfort today, adding to the Spurs’ already horrific injury list for this season.

For Postecoglou and Tottenham, who had been encouraged minutes before by Rodrigo Bentancur’s return to the starting lineup, it was yet another crushing blow.

The Uruguayan returned rather sooner than anticipated. But when one disappears, another reappears, and it seems that Sarr may have been gone for some time.

After the match, Postecoglou revealed to the BBC that Sarr had sustained a hamstring injury.
