Contract have been cancelled – More criticism for Tottenham man, would not last one month at another club
The Tottenham Hotspur loanee Tanguy Ndombele’s tenure at Galatasaray remains a contentious topic in Turkey despite his inability to establish himself there.
The midfield player is often criticized for his poor play, and local reports have frequently brought up his physical condition.
GS Gazete quotes Sercan Dikme’s most recent remarks on Ndombele.
The commentator said that despite the Tottenham player’s terrible performance, his management has been giving him additional opportunities, something that wouldn’t be the case at other Turkish teams.
“Who at Galatasaray receives the most criticism? Ndombele. No one is speaking as Okan Buruk continues to play him. Dikme guessed that he would not have played for Beşiktaş for even a month and that his contract would have been terminated.
Ndombele has made 23 appearances for Galatasaray since joining the team last summer, although he hasn’t often been given starts. He has largely been deployed in the closing minutes of games lately.
It is evident at this point that the Turkish team will not be interested in keeping him on a long-term contract, therefore Tottenham will probably need to come up with yet another fresh plan for him.
Ndombele’s Spurs contract expires in2025, and while Transfermarkt values his worth at €15 million, it is only expected to decrease.
