Two Premier League clubs are in talks with tottenham about signing 22yr old
The print edition of Corriere dello Sport has indicated that both Brighton and Brentford are expressing interest in securing a loan deal for Tottenham’s Bryan Gil.
Recent reports from Italian outlets have highlighted Lazio’s keen interest in the 22-year-old winger, with Maurizio Sarri reportedly a strong admirer of the Spanish player.
Despite Lazio’s pursuit, it appears that Bryan Gil is likely to stay in the Premier League, with both Brighton and Brentford entering the scene as potential suitors.
Corriere suggests that negotiations are currently underway between the South Coast club (Brighton) and the West London side (Brentford) for a loan deal with Tottenham for Gil. However, the report doesn’t specify which club holds the upper hand in the negotiations.
In Our View, a loan move to a Premier League side is seen as an ideal scenario for Gil. This opportunity would allow the 22-year-old to acclimatize to English football and showcase his ability to handle the physical demands of the competition.
While Brighton’s style of play might better suit Gil, the likelihood of regular game time at Brentford could weigh significantly in the decision-making process for Tottenham.
