Tom Huddlestone rates how far Postecoglou can take Tottenham in years

Tom Huddlestone, a former player for Tottenham Hotspur, thinks that Ange Postecoglou should put the Premier League ahead of the FA Cup. He was on the talkSPORT show, which was shared by its X name. What he said:

“I think the manager would be thinking, ‘I’m going to be here for a while; I’d like to play in the Champions League.'”

The group was talking about Ange’s position at the club and what his first priorities should be. In the fourth round of the FA Cup, on January 27, his team will play Manchester City. On the other hand, the next EPL match day for the North Londoners is against Brentford.

Tottenham is in fifth place in the league with 40 points right now. Chelsea won the FA Cup a very long time ago, in the 1990–91 season. The much-anticipated match against Manchester City will not have Heung-min Son with the Australian head coach. How the Spurs boss puts his team together to beat a strong team should be interesting to watch.

The “red pill, blue pill” moment for Ange

Tottenham’s “empty trophy cabinet” is something that rivals’ fans often make fun of. The people of North London haven’t kissed a cutlery in almost fifteen years. In the fourth round of the FA Cup, they will play Manchester City, which should once again stop their goals.

Man City has the best players and most talented players in the league. Because of this, the job will be very hard for The Lilywhites. At this point, Spurs are not strong enough to go for both the FA Cup and the EPL title at the same time.

It would be best for Ange Postecoglou if he focused on just one thing. Spurs didn’t make it to the top four last year, and they may not be happy with anything less than a spot in the Champions League this year.

But from the point of view of a fan, a prize would bring much-needed happiness to the locker room, just like it would for the fans.

The team has to win. It’s an honour to win the FA Cup. The Spurs need a deterrent more than anything, and winning it would give them that. They are one of the “Big Six,” after all.
