Ange has now given Tottenham the green-light to sign elegant and hard-working 22 y/o

A 22-year-old player who is “elegant” and “hard-working” has now been approved by Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham.

Spurs were one of the busiest Premier League teams in January. There are still two weeks left until the transfer deadline on February 1. The north London club has been very busy this transfer window. In just one week, Spurs have added Timo Werner on loan from RB Leipzig for six months and Radu Dragusin for £25 million from Genoa. These two players will help Postecoglou’s attack and defense.

This is great news for the Australian, especially since Dragusin has joined the team. Spurs had been seriously lacking backup at center back.

Because Micky van de Ven hurt his knee and Cristian Romero was sometimes unavailable, Postecoglou often had to use Emerson Royal and Ben Davies as a replacement pairing last year.

That’s no longer the case, though, and Dragusin’s arrival will give Tottenham plenty of options in case van de Ven or Romero get hurt.

Postecoglou said of Dragusin’s deal, “They gave it to me probably six weeks ago.”

“After that, Radu was always on our list of players we thought would be a good fit for us.” Then it was time to learn as much as possible about him as a person and as a player.

“We put him out there and talked to as many people as we could about him. I’ve been following him since we brought him to your attention.” Once we got down to the specifics, I believed he was the best choice for us.

“Before the window opened we made the decision that Radu would be our number one priority.”

Spurs may still be able to make another move, even though Postecoglou now has the center back he wanted and Werner gives them more options up front.

Tottenham is very interested in several players, including Chelsea star Conor Gallagher. A new story says that their boss really likes Real Sociedad forward Ander Barrenetxea.

Spurs can move for Barrenetxea after Postecoglou gives the go-ahead

“Green light” has been given by Postecoglou for Spurs to sign Barrenetxea, writes The Sun. Spurs and Arsenal are both thought to have a lot of respect for the Spanish player, who has scored three goals and set up one in 16 La Liga games this season.

The Lilywhites love how versatile he is as a wide forward who can play on both the right and left side. Postecoglou wants to add another striking star after a lot of injuries this season.

For those who don’t know much about the Spanish journalist Antonio Mango, he gave some good information about X.
