Tottenham agree deal for attacking midfielder – offer accepted, medical expected shortly
Tottenham has agreed to let Plymouth Argyle borrow Alfie Devine on loan.
The 19-year-old was returned from Port Vale earlier today, and Football Insider says he will have a test with Plymouth in the next 24 hours.
During the first half of the season, the aggressive midfielder played 26 games across all competitions for the League One team, hitting three goals and setting up three more.
Spurs think the young player is ready to move up to the second level now that he has started his first loan stint at Vale Park.
The playmaker is set to go on loan to Plymouth Argyle for the rest of the season, as first mentioned by Lilywhite Rose on X.
And Football Insider says the offer has been accepted, and the player will get a medical in the next 24 hours.
At Tottenham, Alfie Devine is very highly regarded. He has played for and scored for the first team in the FA Cup before.
He has played 48 times for Spurs U21s and has scored 13 goals and set up 7 others. It looks like the club is now getting him ready for the first team by loaning him to other teams to help him grow.
