Hearing right now: Romano drops update about Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg’s future

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, a player for Tottenham Hotspur, may have played at Manchester United yesterday, but his future is still very unclear.

The Dane player has still done his job for Ange Postecoglou and is still a great example of a professional. He knows he’s not the first choice, though, and that he’s only being picked now because of need.

There have been rumors that Hojbjerg will leave the club in January. A lot of teams, including Juventus and Ajax, have been tied to the player. David Ornstein said that Premier League sides would also be interested.

But it doesn’t look like Hojbjerg will be leaving any time soon.

Spurs could keep Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Fabrizio Romano talked about Hojbjerg’s situation on his Here We Go Podcast last night and gave a report on how things are going with the player right now.

“We know that Pierre-Hojbjerg’s case is still open.” There were a lot of rumors coming from Italian teams, but from what I can tell now, it’s not going to happen for Napoli or Juventus. “That’s why Tottenham hasn’t decided who their new midfielder will be yet,” Romano said.

Hojbjerg was bought by Spurs for £15 million in 2020. Ever since, he’s been used a lot, but some fans have said he’s not always free to be creative.

Great teams and squads aren’t always made up of the big names that make the news. You need people who work behind the scenes and stars who just do their jobs. The player Hojbjerg looks like one of those.

With all of the problems at the club right now, moving Hojbjerg would not help.

It will be hard for Spurs to get a better player in a hurry since it is still January and Manchester United played well yesterday.

So, Hojbjerg should be told that he’s not going anywhere this month.
