‘Brilliant’: Jamie O’Hara says £39M Tottenham player is an Excellent fit for club
Pedro Porro, a defender for Tottenham Hotspur, has been judged by Jamie O’Hara. The talkSPORT commentator who used to play for Tottenham is very pleased with Porro’s play this season.
So, what did Jamie O’Hara say about Pedro Porro, a defender for Tottenham Hotspur?
Well, Jamie O’Hara has been talking about Pedro Porro before Sunday’s Premier League game at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Tottenham player and talkSPORT commentator thinks Porro is great. O’Hara said that the Spain right back, who cost £39 million (Sky Sports), is a great player.
This season, Porro has helped Tottenham win 19 Premier League games, scoring six goals.
During the second half of last season, the former Manchester City hopeful started 13 games and came on as a replacement twice in the Premier League for Spurs. He scored three goals and set up three others.
Over on talkSPORT at 7:28 p.m. on January 13, 2024, O’Hara said this about Porro: “Porro is brilliant.” I like him a lot. He plays really well.”
Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the Premier League title
This season, I think Tottenham Hotspur is very much in the running for the Premier League title.
Spurs are only six points behind Liverpool, who are in first place, and only one point behind Arsenal, who are in fourth place and play in North London.
Needless to say, Tottenham’s main goal this season is to finish in the top four. However, they have a good chance of competing for the title until the very end of the season.
Why can’t Tottenham be thought of as a title contender in the Premier League? After all, Aston Villa came from nowhere to finish in third place?
