£30M rated star unfancied by Steve Cooper at Forest now wanted by Tottenham
Loic Bade left Nottingham Forest without playing a first-team game, and now Tottenham is eyeing him, as reported by Estadio Deportivo.
It’s frustrating for Forest fans as the player, ignored by Steve Cooper, has become a target for Tottenham. The club saw Bade as an alternative if Radu Dragusin chose Bayern Munich over Tottenham, a move that now seems likely.
Although Bade has a £50 million release clause at Sevilla, reports suggest they might consider a sale for around £30 million.
Forest’s decision not to play Bade seems questionable. Despite regular defenders in the team, he wasn’t given a chance. Bade left Forest in January, and surprisingly, won the Europa League with Sevilla.
While Forest brought in Felipe as an alternative, injuries have limited his impact, leaving fans questioning Cooper’s choices, especially given the success of Rafa Mir at Sevilla.
Bade’s situation feels different, and fans wonder why the former Forest boss didn’t utilize his talents.
