Tottenham Star set To leave After Lloris in January

Hugo Lloris, the custodian, may be the next to depart Tottenham in January. Reliable reporter Alasdair Gold has information on the future of a premium earner.

Veteran goalkeeper Lloris will accept a contract to join MLS team Los Angeles FC, ending his N17 career just over 11 years after he first joined the Spurs.

After giving his well-known “here we go” to the move, Fabrizio Romano announced that Lloris would be signing a one-year contract with LAFC with the option to remain for extra years.

The Frenchman played 444 games for Tottenham (Transfermarkt) in all competitions, winning a Champions League final while there, and dominating the team as their first-choice keeper for many seasons prior to Guglielmo Vicario’s arrival.

Despite the Croatian’s inability to recover from injury until the last few weeks of the campaign, it is said that Perisic is “keen” on a transfer to Hajduk Split in January.

Perisic is reportedly considering a move to Split, and if the deal goes through, Daniel Levy, the chairman, could be able to remove the 34-year-old’s rumoured £180,000 weekly wage from Tottenham’s records (Spotrac). According to Gold’s report, Spurs “will be hoping” that the wide receiver can make a play.
