‘I’m afraid Spurs fans watching’: Sky journalist claims 22yr old Tottenham player is not in training today

Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has been exercising his players in preparation for their last Premier League match before the holidays.

Before Saturday’s matchup with Everton, Spurs supporters were in for both good and bad news during Tuesday’s training session, which was covered by Sky Sports News.

The good news is that Brennan Johnson, a forward for Tottenham, was one of the players practicing at Tottenham Way.

Micky van de Ven, a defender for Tottenham, was not there, indicating that he is still a ways off from playing again.

After suffering a hamstring injury in the match against Chelsea, the 22-year-old is unlikely to play until the New Year.

Although there were expectations that Van de Ven would eventually go out on the grass, Sky Sports correspondent Jamie Weir acknowledged that this is still not the case.

“Unfortunately, Spurs supporters, we were hoping to see Micky van de Ven out on the grass, but it’s obviously a bit early for Van de Ven,” he remarked.

“About six weeks ago, during the loss to Chelsea, he left the game due to a hamstring issue; James Maddison also left the game and isn’t now playing.

There were rumors that Van van Ven planned to make a comeback against Burnley in the FA Cup the first weekend of January, but that’s not happening right now. It’s twenty days away, and he hasn’t shown yet.

Spurs won’t want to send Micky van de Ven back too soon.

Ange Postecoglou has pulled Tottenham swiftly out of the relegation zone with a number of brilliant moves, including the acquisition of Van van Ven.

Sadly, that means we probably won’t see him for a long if he’s still not back on the grass.

Spurs won’t probably want to hurry him back, even if he does become available, in case he relapses or aggravates his problem.

Given that players like Ryan Sessegnon and Dele Alli have similar problems, Tottenham supporters are well aware of the ease with which these ailments may recur.
