Postecoglou explains Sonny absence from matchday squad
Ange Postecoglou has provided an explanation regarding Heung-Min Son’s absence from the squad for today’s match against Manchester United.

“It’s a short turnaround from Thursday night, and he just wasn’t right for today, so we go without him,” Postecoglou stated ahead of the game. His comments highlight the challenging schedule the team faces, particularly when key players are affected by injury.
When asked whether Son’s absence would impact the team’s performance, Postecoglou acknowledged that it was indeed a blow but emphasized the need to adapt to such situations.

While Son’s absence is undoubtedly significant, Postecoglou remains confident in the squad’s ability to step up in his absence.
He mentioned that Timo, who will take Son’s place, is well-suited for the role and was brought into the club specifically for moments like this. Timo will now have the opportunity to showcase his abilities in a key match.
Despite the setback of losing their captain for the game, Tottenham must find a way to maintain their momentum and secure a positive result against a strong Manchester United side.
