Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son makes claim about Harry Kane ahead of England’s Euro 2024 final vs Spain

Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung-min Son has now shared a message to Harry Kane which Spurs fans will love to hear.

It is now 12 months on from Harry Kane‘s departure from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after he made the move to Bayern Munich.

Tottenham have been unable to replace the goals left behind by the England captain despite Ange Postecoglou‘s efforts to spread the responsibility across the team.

Captain Heung-min Son took on the lion’s share of the goals left behind by Kane with the South Korean netting 17 times in the league alone.

And he has now issued a message to England’s captain ahead of the Euro 2024 final on Sunday.

A huge game is on the horizon for England with their second consecutive European Championship final on offer.

Gareth Southgate’s side are coming up against Spain with neither side fielding any Spurs representatives.

James Maddison was one of the notable omissions from the England side after making the initial squad for the friendlies leading up to the tournament.

And omitting Pedro Porro from the Spain side was something which raised a lot of eyebrows from anyone who had watched the right-back last season.

Speaking on Friday to the Tottenham social media team, the Spurs captain admitted he’s hoping to see England lift the trophy on Sunday.

“I wish England to win [the Euros final],” Son said.

“Because [I want] Harry to win it, the best England player in history.”

Arriving in north London last summer, Postecoglou will have been drooling over the thought of managing Kane and Son.

However, the only experience he got of managing Kane was in a pre-season friendly which saw the England captain score four times.

The pair formed a stunning partnership over the years at Tottenham and became the Premier League’s best-ever pairing.

Kane and Son combined to score more goals than any other previous partnership with a return of 47 goals between them in the top flight.
