Alan Hutton, a former Tottenham defender, discussed this development with Tottenham News, asserting that the loan is a well-timed move for the young Croatian’s career.

“Tottenham has a history of nurturing young talents, often by sending them out on loan to gain valuable experience,” Hutton explained. “While some players get integrated during pre-season, it’s not uncommon for the management to decide on loan spells to ensure consistent playtime and growth.”

Hutton added, “Luka is an exciting prospect, and there’s no need to rush his development. Allowing him to gain regular playing time will help him return as a more seasoned player, which will ultimately benefit Tottenham.”
