Tottenham now planning to start talks to sign ‘unique’ £60M star in next two weeks
In the following two weeks, Tottenham Hotspur will try to gain a jump on their competition for the signing of one transfer target by initiating negotiations with him.
There was some fantastic football played by Ange Postecoglou’s squad last season, but they were unable to capitalise on their strong start due to injury.
That they are preparing to acquire one of the Premier League’s most intriguing players at the moment may come as no surprise.
In the next two weeks, Tottenham will begin contract negotiations with Eberechi Eze.
Based on a report from Football Transfers, Tottenham is gearing up to intensify their pursuit of Eberechi Eze and is expected to initiate contract negotiations within the next two weeks.
It would seem that Eze is under the impression that he has a deal with the Eagles that allows him to depart Selhurst Park this summer for a fee of £60 million. The fact that Oliver Glasner’s side is unwilling to entertain a cheaper offer for the England international comes as no surprise.
If Tottenham wants to get first dibs on the 25-year-old, they’ll have to act quickly.
Among the many former EFL players who have found success at Palace is Eze. With 11 goals scored last season, he has a direct involvement in 41 goals throughout 112 Premier League games.
If he were to play with James Maddison and Heung-min Son, Tottenham supporters would likely be over the moon. Rio Ferdinand has called him “unique” and praised his individual talent.

This summer, Spurs also offered Barcelona star £50 million
According to TBR Football, Tottenham is reportedly one of many clubs given the opportunity to acquire Raphinha from Barcelona this summer, so Eze isn’t the only offensive talent on Spurs’ radar.
The future of Raphinha is up in the air as Barça are considering selling the £50 million winger to generate revenue. Raphinha has extensive Premier League experience, having excelled for Leeds for two seasons at Elland Road.
If Spurs could get Eze and Raphinha this summer and incorporate them into the trio that plays behind the striker, they would be the envy of most Premier League teams.
