Tottenham linked with summer move for attacker with 58 goal contributions this season
Tottenham are looking to reinforce their attack by signing Sporting CP ace Viktor Gyökeres.
Ange Postecoglou’s priority heading into the summer transfer window will be to add more firepower to his squad. The Australian manager will push to add a new world-class striker and according to Correio da Manha via SportWitness, Viktor Gyökeres is one of the targets for Tottenham heading into this summer.

Sporting CP forked out just €20m to sign Gyokeres from Coventry City last summer. Since making the move to Portugal, the 25-year-old has been in absolutely sensational form, he was involved in 50 matches and ended up contributing towards 58 goals. The Swedish star found the back of the net on 43 occasions in his debut season for the club.
His exceptional form in front of goal hasn’t gone unnoticed and Spurs have made him their top target for the upcoming transfer window.
The North London club might look at him as the long-term successor of Harry Kane. Gyökeres has the physical and technical qualities to thrive in English football at Spurs if he does end up making the move.
Although Spurs are keen on his signature and he would be an ideal fit for their system under Ange Postecoglou, it will not be easy to land him. It might take around €100 million for Tottenham to acquire his services.
It will be interesting to see if Spurs are willing to pay that kind of money for the highly rated attacker. They will have to improve the other areas of their squad as well, and therefore spending €100 million on a striker might not be sensible.
