Spurs plotting part-exchange offer to sign eight-goal midfielder

According to InterLive.it, Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a move for Davide Frattesi and are prepared to offer Emerson Royal to Inter Milan as part of a deal to sign the midfielder.

Frattesi has had a mixed season at Inter since his move from Sassuolo last summer. Although the midfielder has eight goals and five assists to his name, he has largely been used as an impact substitute, struggling to get regular starts under his belt for the current Serie A champions.

InterLive claim that the Italy international could be back on the market this summer and Spurs are hatching a plan to bring him to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Emerson Royal is in demand with Milan clubs

It is alleged that in the ‘next few weeks’ Ange Postecoglou’s side could table an offer of €30m (£25.5m) plus Emerson Royal for the Inter star.

It is explained that Spurs value Emerson at around €15m-€18m (£12.7m-£15.3m), bringing the total cost of the operation for Frattesi to around €48m (£40.8m).

The 25-year-old has fallen down the Tottenham first team squad pecking order with Pedro Porro having established himself as the club’s first-choice right-back with some impressive performances.
