Tottenham to propose a player-plus-cash deal including Emerson Royal to sign highly rated…
Tottenham Hotspur are looking at a mass exodus in the upcoming summer transfer window, and defender Emerson Royal has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane. Per the latest reports, the North Londoners are planning to offer the Brazilian a cash-plus-swap deal.
The Lilywhites have been intending to sign Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi, per Inter Live, and Spurs are looking to fortify their interest in his signature. The Italian maestro has been a part of the title-winning Inter Milan last season and has made 32 appearances in the Serie A; however, most of his outings came off the bench.

Frattesi has scored six goals and laid four assists in a bid to be Inter’s scudetto in the recently concluded campaign. His antics at San Siro have attracted interest from clubs around Europe, including Spurs, who are now considering bringing the 24-year-old central midfielder to bolster their options in the middle of the park.
Royal’s departure and Spurs’ Bid
The report states that the Lilywhites will make a player-plus-cash offer worth €30 million in the next few weeks’ for Davide Frattesi, and they will include the former Barcelona full-back in the deal.
Inter Milan have been linked with a move for Royal in the last few weeks, and any offer that brings him to the N17 would be a considerable and desirable deal for the Italian champions.
This could turn out to be an astute piece of business by Daniel Levy, who will not only sign a highly rated youngster but also pursue the planned mass exodus in the same deal while driving the costs of the operation down. However, Tottenham will face competition from AS Roma and Atletico Madrid for Frattesi’s signature.
The next few weeks leading up to the summer transfer window should be filled with reports about the potential departure of Emerson as well as a ball-room figure that Spurs are willing to offer for the 24-year-old’s services.
