Confirmed: Tottenham duo will be sold this summer after failing to impress Ange Postecoglou
Following their underperformance poor manager Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham is likely to split ways with Djed Spence and Bryan Gil this summer.
Set on fighting for the Premier League crown, Postecoglou is resolved to transform the team before the next season.
Several players are apparently on the chopping block with intentions for a major makeover during the transfer season.
Of them, Bryan Gil and Djed Spence have become front-runners for leaving.
Reports from Football Insider state that once the summer transfer market opens, Tottenham has opted to sell the pair.
Arriving during Antonio Conte’s era, Spence struggled to have an influence at Spurs and was loaned to Leeds United last summer.

But disciplinary problems dogged his loan tenure, resulting in an early return to Tottenham before he was loaned out once again to Genoa for the rest of the season.
Conversely, Bryan Gil, a member of Postecoglou’s team this season, made only 12 appearances overall and failed to establish himself as a consistent starter.
Though hailed as a potential talent, the Spaniard battled to have a major influence whenever he played for the North London team.
With Postecoglou eager on transforming the club to compete a big championship contest next season, the possible exits of Spence and Gil might indicate the start of a significant squad change at Tottenham.
The withdrawals of Spence and Gil might open the path for fresh additions as Tottenham gets ready for a hectic summer window, therefore enhancing its team in search of success.
