Tottenham hold talks to sign £34m midfielder with 16 goal contributions this season
Tottenham are keen on acquiring the services of Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder Georgiy Sudakov.
The North London club are on the lookout for players who can further bolster their ranks ahead of next season and they feel Georgiy Sudakov could be a key player for them in the long run.
According to a report from Express Sport, Spurs have held talks to sign the Ukrainian international in the upcoming transfer window.

Sudakov has been an integral part of Shakhtar’s first team over the last two seasons. He was a standout performer for them in the 2022/23 season and the 21-year-old has managed to put in similar performances during the 2023/24 season. He has 16 goal contributions (10 goals, 6 assists) in his 34 outings this term.
The attacking midfielder has made quite a name for himself with impressive performances and it has resulted in a lot of interest from the English top flight. Spurs are one of the clubs interested in him as they look to bring in someone who can support James Maddison in the number ten role.

They feel that the Shakhtar youth product is a perfect fit for Ange Postecoglou’s system. But, the Ukrainian club do not want to negotiate his departure before the end of Euro 2024. While the North London club have had frequent talks to sign the attacking midfielder, only a sensational offer could lead to a departure before the Euros.
The Ukrainian club believes that Sudakov’s value could rise after the Euros on the back of impressive performances in the international tournament.
Shakhtar turned down a £34 million offer in January from Napoli which is a clear indication that they feel another big payday is on the horizon following the big money sale of Mykhailo Mudryk in the recent past.
