Mido makes claim about Daniel Levy after seeing Tottenham lose to Manchester City last night
Last night’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City was the first time in Mido’s career that he made a claim about Daniel Levy.
The team led by Ange Postecoglou lost to City last night, which hurt their chances of making it to the Champions League.
What a Strange Rise and Fall Forest Green Rovers
That honor has now been given to fourth-placed Aston Villa, who the North Londoners can’t catch as the season comes to a close.
A lot of fans have hope after Postecoglou’s first season in charge, but the club still hasn’t won a prize since 2008.
Mido has said what he thinks about why that is.
What Mido Says Daniel Levy only cares about making money.
Mido, who has played 61 times for Spurs, went on X on Wednesday afternoon to say horrible things about Levy’s plans.
It’s a shame that a club with so much history like Tottenham can’t win any trophies. It’s clear that the owners and board think about only one thing: making money!!” I really think Spurs fans deserve better!!
It looks like the club has everything it needs to win!! It’s too bad that this will never happen with the people running the club now!!
Over the last few years, that has been one of Levy’s main complaints: Spurs’ net spending is much lower than that of their rivals. However, he would say that was important to make way for the new stadium.
This summer will be very important.
Levy will be closely watched as he decides how much to spend in the summer transfer window, which is coming up quickly.
Postecoglou has already made it clear that he wants big changes, and it looks like the Australian also wants a small rebuild.
Spurs will need to finally replace Harry Kane with a top-notch striker if they want to close the gap on the top four teams.
Levy needs to back up his man.
